I am from the U.S. and was extremely nervous about getting my hair done before my wedding by individuals I had never even met, but they were amazing! They let me move my appointment up when I became nervous about time and really listened to what I wanted for my wedding day hair style. They talked to me like we were old friends and if I lived closer, this would definitely be my home salon. I got exactly what I dreamed and was completely satisfied!

From the moment I booked with Alice for my wedding hair it was an absolute breeze! As a girl coming into Wanaka from overseas it was really tricky to know who to book with. When I came for my trial, she was very consultative and after showing her a few photos of what I liked she did a great job that was unique, not just a copy of something else. On our wedding day there was a town-wide power cut from early morning, but when I arrived she was so relaxed and confident I didn't worry at all. Lucky for us the power came on half way through so she ended up able to add curls in the end. She did the most beautiful braid I've ever seen; big and romantic. It was very comfortable, and stayed gorgeous all day in spite of a Helicopter trip and Latin dancing at our reception! I have very thick heavy hair that just likes to go straight, and she worked magic with it. It's rare for a guy to notice hair; but it was one of the first things my new husband complimented when the ceremony was done and we were in our car heading out for photos. I would book Alice every time, she did a fantastic job.
